About Us

Grapevine Services is a 501C3 Nonprofit Corporation established in 2020 to provide creative programs to children, youth, and families, strategic training to mitigate trauma, broken homes, and poverty for those who require opportunities to thrive. We provide gateways for children, families, and youth through research-driven practices and principles.
Our Vision To see the world end the acts of violence, and killing of our youth, and all people. Our Mission To provide artistic, faithful, compassionate services that will positively impact the lives of all children, families, and individuals for good. Our Values We value spirituality and diversity, promote equality, and challenge discrimination. Grapevine Services is inclusive, sensitive, and constantly evolving to create peace for all.

Our Board of Directors

Dr. Valerie Daniel, LCSW Board Chairwoman Dr. Valerie Daniel, LCSW, is a psychotherapist and owner/operator of her private practice calledLife’s Crossings. In her practice, Dr. Daniel works with clients dealing with a variety of issuesfrom life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Dr. Daniel hasworked in a variety of positions from case manager to program director, and with manydifferent populations from children to seniors as her career has progressed. In recent years, shehas been a former college professor at several local colleges and universities and currentlyfacilitates trainings and workshops on mental health topics, as well as providing clinicalsupervision to Master’s level social work students.
Gary Jones, LCSW Counseling, Behavioral Health Gary Jones is an advocate and supporter of individuals, groups and families impacted by anxiety,depression, and trauma. Gary has also been an advocate for understanding male and fatherhoodrelated issues. Gary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania, Delaware,and Maryland. He has formerly served as an Adjunct Professor for Delaware County CommunityCollege (PA) and Cabrini University (PA). Gary is a graduate of Temple University and hasutilized therapy, clinical supervision, trainings, workshop, and collaborative efforts with others toeducate and help eradicate the stigma attached to mental health treatment, especially in Blackand Brown communities. Gary is also the founder and owner of Surviving Today LLC.
Dr. Richard McFadden, Education and Programs Richard T. Mc Fadden, PhD in Social Work, MS/BA in Criminal Justice. Currently, he is Dean at acommunity college in the tri-state area. His roots are grounded in both the Delaware andPhiladelphia area. He has been with his employer for over twelve years. Prior to their currentappointment, he worked in the field of probation/parole for twenty years. He has providedawareness, education, therapy, and support to his community in several areas. He worked withvarious communities, but his passion is working with the Reentering Citizens and LGBTQIA+communities.
Joy Woods Jones, LSW Founder/ CEO Grapevine Services has been a vision of our founder for decades. Joy's career has solely involved her tireless efforts in social work for children, youth, and families in the child welfare system. Joy has led programs and agencies for over 20 years. Throughout her professional journey, Joy has created successful programs, written millions of dollars in grant funding, and led amazing people through her transformational leadership style. Joy is lauded for her ability to inspire the next generation of social workers as an educator and trainer. Joy is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University a job she says she would do for free. Joy's philosophy is that working on behalf of children, youth, and families enables us to grow through supporting the healing of others.

Supporting Our Community

The tragedies of Philadelphia must be addressed. There may not be one solution. However, in order to solve the challenges of senseless violence and killing, innovation, prevention, and intervention are required. You can join Grapevine Services to help aid the residents of Philadelphia, PA.
